Job Description:
Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a reliable Packing Operative to join a vertical farming facility, working mainly in the packing room and supporting Goods In / Goods Out operations.
Pay
* £12.21 per hour
* Increases to £12.27 per hour after 2 weeks
Shift
* Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 16:00
* Will change to 4 on / 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00 in the near future
* Only apply if you can work the future 4 on / 4 off shift
The Role
* Packing fresh produce to customer specifications
* Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch
* Supporting goods in / goods out and stock control
* Basic Excel updates for stock and dispatch records
* General warehouse and yard duties
* Working in a chilled packing room (approx. 8°C)
Requirements
* Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to stay until the job is done
* Basic to fair Excel skills
* Reliable, flexible, and hardworking
* Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred
