HGV Class 2 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dudley, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 05:00 starts
Rates of Pay
• £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer service
• Operating HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secure and transported safely
• Delivering to customer locations using both mechanical and manual offloading methods
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
• Working flexibly, with early morning starts an essential part of the role
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Minimum of 12 month’s Category C driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• Strong understanding of UK transport laws and safety regulations
• Excellent time-keeping, reliability and communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Forklift or Combi-lift licence (advantageous)
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
