The Role
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a confident and adaptable Humanities Teacher, with a strong focus on History, to join their team from January 2026 on a supply basis.
The role will involve planning, delivering, and marking lessons across the Humanities curriculum, teaching History as the main subject, alongside Religious Studies and Geography. You will be expected to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that maintain the school’s high academic standards and support positive student outcomes across KS3 and KS4.
This position is well suited to an experienced Humanities teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable experience in a high-performing school environment.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
*Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
*Have strong subject knowledge in History, with the ability to teach RS and Geography
*Be confident planning, delivering, and marking lessons
*Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
*Be adaptable and professional in a supply setting
