Job Description:
Are you an experienced finance professional? Have you previously worked in a senior finance role and had experience of leading or managing a team? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Finance Manager for their site in Woking. The role will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the finance department.

Job Description
*Managing the day-to-day running of the finance function, providing leadership, oversight, and support across operations.
*Preparing monthly management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and gross margin reviews, ensuring accuracy and adherence to group reporting deadlines.
*Leading annual budgeting and audit processes, managing cash flow, and liaising with external auditors and senior stakeholders.
*Overseeing intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, invoicing, payroll processing, and close collaboration with production teams to ensure financial integrity.
*Implementing and improving financial processes, supporting strategic decision-making, assisting with customer payment plans, and managing a local finance team.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Holder of a relevant university degree, finance qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Experience of managing and leading people
*Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to draw conclusions based on data
