HGV Class 2 Driver – Hemel Hempstead
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to grow and progress within a supportive working environment.

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 starts
Rates of Pay
• £16.23 – £21.59 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
• Carrying out Class 2 deliveries in the local area
• Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
• Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and delivered on time
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle faults or delays to management
• Following all working time and road transport regulations
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving Category C vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Punctual, reliable and professional
• Good understanding of UK traffic laws and safety regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
