Owen Reed is looking for a Legal Executive Assistant for a top law firm in London.
The Role – Legal Executive AssistantAs Legal Executive Assistant, you will provide senior-level support to fee earners, ensuring seamless diary management, communication flow and operational efficiency across the team.
Key Responsibilities• Advanced diary and meeting management across multiple time zones
• Managing calls, emails and correspondence with professionalism and discretion
• Coordinating complex travel and preparing detailed itineraries
• Producing and refining legal documents, reports, presentations and briefing papers
• Managing invoices, checking narratives, disbursements and VAT
• Working closely with Billing to prepare, review and submit client invoices
• Ensuring fee earners are fully prepared for meetings with all required materials
• Acting as a key liaison between clients, fee earners and business services teams
• Maintaining electronic filing, archiving and data management systems
• Supporting new client and matter onboarding through firm systems
• Providing ad-hoc support to lawyers and wider LEA team when required
About You• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Legal Executive Assistant within a law firm
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using DocXTools and Intapp
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong time-management and prioritisation abilities
• Calm, confident and professional under pressure
• Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines without compromising quality
