Veritas Education is currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school setting in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual with proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role:
*Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
*Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs
*Assisting with academic, social, and emotional development
*Supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties
*Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with SEN pupils is essential
*Experience in a primary or secondary school setting
*A patient, caring, and resilient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to follow behaviour and support plans effectively
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
