Job Description:
CNC Operator - Precision Engineering | Havant, Hampshire Salary: £32.000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Alternating Shifts: Early 6am-2pm,Late 2pm-10pm
Location: Havant, Hampshire

Key Responsibilities * Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proactively identify hazards
* Escalate production issues and follow work instructions accurately
* Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings to support SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) initiatives
* Record production data and update MRP systems efficiently
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Share technical knowledge and support team training and development
* Uphold quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Ideal Candidate Profile * Proven experience in CNC machine setting (milling and turning)
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
* Familiar with Siemens, Fanuc, and Mazatrol CNC controls
* Knowledge of modern cutting tools and offline/online programming
* Understanding of 5S workplace organisation principles
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
* Committed to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement
