Hotel Manager
*Annual Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
*Location: Solihull, Warwickshire
*Job Type: Full-time permanent
*Some weekends included in working hours
We are seeking a Hotel Manager to join our team at a privately owned 27-bedroom hotel, which also serves as a restaurant, conference, wedding, and event venue. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced senior manager with strong management skills, aiming to uphold our reputation for excellent service.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the sales team to ensure they are achieving their targets.
*Ensure all department targets are met, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
*Supervise the restaurant operations and oversee all aspects of housekeeping.
*Manage upselling to guests and work to maximize profitability.
*Oversee all aspects of the bar and ensure all documentation is up to date.
*Maintain health and safety standards across the hotel.
*Continually carry out staff training and implement weekly rotas to meet given targets.
*Be very competent in all areas of sales and marketing, including managing weddings and functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous sales management experience is essential.
*Proficient in maximizing team performance.
*Knowledge of food safety regulations.
*Strong time management skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
*Background in hospitality is essential.
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Driving Licence (required).
