Role: Sales Executive
Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
Salary Range: circa £30,000 + benefits
Hours: Permanent, full-time, Monday–Friday (office based)

About the Role
Joining a busy sales function, you will manage a substantial portfolio of customers.
Your focus will be on nurturing these relationships through regular communication and tailored product recommendations.
You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, prepare and issue accurate quotes using CRM systems, and maintain up-to-date customer information.
Proactively generating new leads through cold calling and responding promptly to web and telephone enquiries will be central to your success.
Additionally, you will aim to re-engage lapsed customers to grow sales opportunities.
Regular sales meetings and product training sessions will keep you informed and equipped to maximise your impact.
Key Responsibilities
*Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring regular engagement and excellent service.
*Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services to meet customer needs and increase sales.
*Prepare and issue quotes accurately, ensuring all customer details and records are kept current in the CRM system.
*Actively generate new business through targeted prospecting and cold calling activities.
*Respond swiftly and professionally to inbound web and telephone enquiries.
*Reconnect with lapsed customers to understand their requirements and offer suitable solutions to regain their business.
*Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to stay updated on product developments and market trends.
*Attend and contribute to monthly sales meetings, sharing insights and sales forecasts.
*Participate in ongoing product training to develop your technical knowledge and sales skills.
About You
*Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within a industrial, manufacturing or a related sector.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence customers effectively.
*Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
*Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
*Confident making outbound calls and handling customer enquiries professionally.
*Self-driven with a positive attitude and a hunger to succeed and develop.
*Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
