Role
Our client is a brand strategy and communications consultancy working internationally at the intersection of architecture, design and development. In addition to the built environment work, we have a strong portfolio of design-led hospitality and wellness clients as well as growing collectable design, art and culture division. We partner with studios, organisations, institutions and individuals to shape brands of substance delivering strategic counsel, relationship management and communications grounded in integrity, curiosity and cultural intelligence. The company is entering an exciting new phase of growth and expansion for which this hire and opportunity is central and essential. Our approach combines rigorous strategic thinking with refined creative execution. Clients span the UK, Europe, the Americas, India and Australia.
Responsibilities
*Support the day-to-day running of the press office across architecture, design, hospitality and culture clients
*Coordinate press, KOL and content creator stays for hospitality clients - managing outreach, logistics and onsite needs
*Assist with planning and execution of international press trips and activations, including booking travel, preparing itineraries and
*producing face sheets
*Draft and support on key press materials including press releases, briefing documents, bios and media notes
*Manage reactive media and KOL requests including imagery, information and collaboration enquiries
*Distribute press coverage and announcements efficiently across client, stakeholder and internal channels
*Lead on client award calendars - managing submissions, deadlines and supporting materials
*Support on event planning and execution across design fairs, gallery openings, talks and launches as required
*Build and nurture strong local and international relationships across media, industry and creative networks
Requirements
*1-3 years’ experience in PR, communications or media relations
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Comfortable and confident supporting pitching and liaising with press, KOLs and clients, with guidance from senior team members
*Organised, detail-focused and proactive in managing tasks
*Familiar with PR tools and platforms, including Mailchimp, Outlook and Canva
*Collaborative, adaptable and genuinely interested in design, travel and culture
