Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools
TailorEDucation is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible supply basis in secondary schools across the Maidstone area. This role is ideal for someone looking for a part-time position that offers an excellent work–life balance.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set by the class teacher. You will maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment, support student behaviour, and liaise with school staff as required.
TailorEDucation works closely with a variety of secondary schools throughout Maidstone and the surrounding areas. Our partner schools are supportive, inclusive environments that value reliability, professionalism, and strong classroom presence.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience working in UK secondary schools (essential)
*Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role
*Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
*The confidence to supervise classes across a range of subjects
*A professional, calm, and adaptable approach
*The ability to work flexibly on a supply basis
