Live in Couple Job in Surrey
An experienced live-in Domestic Couple is sought to take on the combined duties of Housekeeper, Cook, Handyman, and House Manager, in Surrey. The property is the principals’ 2nd residence, where the family will spend many weekends and holidays, and consists of 7 bedrooms on approximately 5 acres of land. Some support to be provided in the main London residence from time to time.
Duties include:
*Full housekeeping for the main residence, including laundry and managing household supplies
*Preparation of meals when the family is in residence
*Property management (regular maintenance schedules) and general property repairs, overseeing contractors if required
*Oversight of security of the property
*Regularly walking the grounds and liaising with the gardener
*Maintenance of household vehicles
*Support for London property if required (handyman, cover for the London housekeeper)
*Some driving duties, including into London
*Some sole care charge of teenage children and dog that may include overnight stays
Whilst the household is relaxed and informal, high standards, reliability and discretion are essential.
Key criteria:
*Proven experience working as a Domestic Couple in a private household for 7 years+
*Strong communication and teamwork
*Trustworthy, professional, and discreet
*Self-starters with the ability to manage tasks independently
*Clean driving licence for both; confident driving in London
*Computer-literate and confident with record keeping
*Organised with high attention to detail
*Dog friendly
*Non-smokers
Start date: May 2026
Working days: 5 days a week to include weekends, with 2 consecutive days off in the week
Working hours: 40 hours per week each
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 gross per annum, depending on skills and experience
Accommodation: One bedroom staff flat with separate entrance. Utility bills and Wi-Fi included, and two cars provided for work purposes. Pets considered.
