Job Description:
Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS Required) – One Day per Week
About the Role and Key ResponsibilitiesTailorEDucation is seeking a qualified Drama Teacher to work one day per week in a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, assessing student progress, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. A passion for Drama education and the ability to motivate learners of varying abilities are essential.
TailorEDucation works in partnership with a wide range of secondary schools across Kent and Medway. Our partner schools provide supportive, inclusive environments where staff are valued and students are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school
*The ability to teach up to KS5 (A Level)
*Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
*Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*A genuine passion for Drama and performing arts education
*Flexibility and professionalism when working within different school environments
