Live out Housekeeper / Cook Job, Kensington, West London
A client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Cook for their house in West London. This role is best suited to an experienced and reliable individual with a proven track record of longevity in private households. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high housekeeping standards, preparing healthy meals, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household. The client is seeking someone proactive, trustworthy, and able to work well both independently and as part of an established household team.
Duties to include:
• General cleaning to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• Cooking, with a focus on Mediterranean and other healthy cuisines
• Availability for international travel with the family - 3-5 consecutive weeks, multiple times across the year
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and solid long-term experience in private households. Discretion is essential. Candidates must hold a UK or EU passport, as the role requires flexibility to travel internationally with the family for extended periods.
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 45 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break)
Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Salary: Up to £50k gross per annum – subject to experience
