Transport Administrator - Coventry
We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator join our clients on their Coventry site. Due to recent developments at the location, this role is urgent and requires someone who can start quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual who enjoys coordinating operations and working closely with third-party providers.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinating and managing third-party transport providers.
*Acting as a key point of contact between our client and their third-party service providers.
*Communicating regularly via phone and email to ensure smooth transport operations.
*Monitoring schedules, resolving issues, and responding quickly to changes.
*Maintaining accurate records and using systems such as Excel to support daily operations.
*Supporting the site with general transport coordination and problem-solving.
Salary & Benefits
*Base Salary: £25,500 per annum

Location: Coventry
Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:30

Candidate Requirements
*Transport experience desirable, but not essential.
*Strong communication skills with a good standard of spoken and written English.
*Confident working with third-party hauliers and internal site teams.
*Excellent people skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
*Good numeracy skills.
*Comfortable using computers, particularly Excel.
*Intelligent, proactive, and able to think on their feet.
*Calm under pressure and capable of handling multiple priorities.
