Cover Supervisor - Join Vibrant Secondary Schools in Northampton
Location: Northampton
Start Date: ASAP | Full-Time | Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm Opportunities
Salary: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience)

We are partnering with a network of welcoming and well-respected secondary schools across Northampton who are looking for confident, enthusiastic individuals to join their teams immediately.
What is a Cover Supervisor? As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the school day running smoothly when teachers are absent. With lesson plans already prepared, your focus will be on maintaining a positive classroom environment, keeping students engaged, and supporting learning outcomes.
Key Duties Will Include: * Supervising classes across a variety of subjects (KS3 & KS4)
* Ensuring students remain on task and complete the work provided
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff
* Supporting wider school routines such as break duties and hallway supervision
* Being a positive and consistent role model for students
Who We’re Looking For: * Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, etc.)
* Confident classroom presence with good behaviour management skills
* Calm, adaptable, and able to respond to unexpected situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Genuine interest in education and supporting student development
