A great opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong insurance accounting experience and a background in Audit to join a leading insurer. This role sits at the heart of their finance function with real scope to improve processes and add value.
Key focus areas:
*Solvency UK / PRA reporting including Balance Sheet and ARTs
*Group reporting packs and insurance P&L analysis by line of business
*Quarterly reporting pack including commentary of insurance P&L
*Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
*Reinsurance and profit commission calculations
*Working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders
*Help to coach and mentor junior team members
*Driving automation and process improvements
You’ll bring:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA)
*Strong insurance accounting and financial controls experience gained from an audit background
*Excellent Excel and data interrogation skills
*A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes
*Confident communicator, comfortable owning issues end to end
