Jacob Grey have partnered with a well established, industry leading business (circa £150m T/O) in NW London to identify a new, commercially minded Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking a tangible route to Finance Director within a couple of years.


Initially reporting to the Financial Director with a dotted line to the MD, your role will involve the following:
*Leadership and development of the finance team (12 individuals)
*Production of year end Statutory accounts
*Hands on production of consolidated monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
*Balancesheet reconciliations and P&L
*Producing quarterly budgets and forecasts
*Ongoing and ad hoc project work including WIP and performance against budget
*Providing detailed financial and commercial analysis with recommendations to the board
*Introducing new robust financial processes
*Streamlining existing processes
*VAT returns
*Cashflow management
*Payroll and financial compliance


This role is made for an ambitious, credible, and qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) finance professional, with a strong desire to lead the financial function of a large, successful and industry leading business. You will also possess a track record of adding value through strong commercial analysis, business partnering with senior leadership teams, and providing assurance with steadfast compliance.
