Job Description:
Job Title: Site Operative
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 2 weeks initially
Location: Millerhill (EH21)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities: *Sort food waste to remove contamination before it enters the processing system.
*Carry out general cleaning tasks across the site, including pressure washing when needed.
*Use the weighbridge computer system to log vehicles entering and leaving the site.
*Report any problems or safety concerns to management promptly.
*Always work in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Skills:
*Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks
*Able to keep the site clean and spot potential issues
*Comfortable with manual work and being on your feet
*Able to work well with others and support the wider team
*Willing to take on tasks and solve basic problems without being asked
*Open to taking on a variety of duties as required by the manager
*Able to follow instructions and report issues clearly
