Job Description:
Parts AdvisorThe RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join a busy and professional aftersales team. This role is pivotal in supporting the workshop, service department and customers by ensuring accurate parts identification, ordering and stock control.
Key Responsibilities*Accurately identify, order and supply vehicle parts and accessories
*Support workshop technicians by ensuring correct parts are available in a timely manner
*Liaise with customers (trade and retail) both face-to-face and over the phone
*Process parts invoices, returns and warranty items
*Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks
*Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to minimise downtime
*Ensure parts department processes comply with company and manufacturer standards
*Upsell accessories and additional parts where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (automotive background preferred)
*Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and electronic parts catalogues (EPC)
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident using dealer management systems (DMS)
*Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Full UK driving licence (preferred)
