Purchasing Coordinator

As the Purchasing Coordinator you’ll play a critical role in maintaining stock levels, placing purchase orders, and resolving supply-side challenges efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Raising and managing supplier purchase orders within an ERP system
*Monitoring stock levels and ordering in line with demand and stock policies
*Handling supplier queries around pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery delays
*Liaising with third-party warehouses and hauliers to resolve issues such as damages or shortages
*Logging and resolving complaints to support continuous improvement
*Maintaining accurate ERP records and communicating updates to internal teams
*Working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Logistics colleagues
What We’re Looking For
*Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, or operations support
*Strong ERP system experience (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Netsuite or similar)
*Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and stock data
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships
*Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
*A proactive team player who enjoys problem-solving and process improvement
