Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor Location: Leicester
Salary: DOE £40,000 - £60-000
Working Pattern: Full-time
A well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking high-quality work, autonomy over cases and long-term career development within a supportive environment.
The Role You will manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, handling files from initial instruction through to resolution, including litigated cases.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims
* Conducting case assessments, investigations and legal research
* Advising clients on complex and sensitive clinical negligence issues
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
* Managing litigation in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols
* Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts and third parties
* Attending conferences, mediations and court hearings where required
* Ensuring high standards of client care and file management
About You * Qualified Solicitor
* Experience in clinical negligence litigation (PQE level flexible)
* Strong understanding of CPR and clinical negligence procedures
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload
* Compassionate, client-focused approach
* Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
