Role Overview
F & L Electrical is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing work across commercial premises in London and the surrounding counties. This role is ideal for a motivated electrician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding works in commercial environments, some domestic work will also be required
*Install containment systems, wiring, lighting, power, and distribution equipment
*Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with current regulations
*Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely
*Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
*Work independently and as part of a team on live commercial sites
*Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
*Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and colleagues
*Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Candidate Requirements*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) (essential)
*2391 Testing and Inspection qualification
*Experience working as an electrician, preferably within commercial settings
*Good working knowledge of current UK electrical regulations
*Ability to work methodically and to a high standard
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Full UK driving licence
*Professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work
