Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Bedford, Milton Keynes & North London
Salary: Up to £55,000 + bonus + company vehicle
Our client is a leading UK supplier of telehandlers and roto-telehandlers, supporting customers across construction and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand their market presence within the region.
This role suits a sales professional with proven experience in telehandlers or plant hire, strong relationship-building skills, and a track record of winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and grow new business while managing existing customer accounts
*Deliver year-on-year revenue growth across your territory
*Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings
*Identify and progress new sales opportunities and projects
*Increase hire rates and improve payment performance
*Accurately maintain CRM records and sales reports
*Represent the company professionally and promote its products and services
*Work closely with the wider sales team to support account development
Position Requirements
*Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within plant hire or telehandlers
*Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
*Target-driven with a customer-focused approach
*Resilient, organised, and able to work independently
*Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
*Based within a commutable distance of the territory
