Product and Supply Chain Compliance Manager
Salary: £40-45k

This Product & Supply Chain Compliance role is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the world’s best-known brands across the Gift & Home sectors.


Key Responsibilities:
*Lead in the identification of applicable product and supply chain regulations for uk, Europe and USA across all product categories.
*Lead on the reporting and compliance against UK government regulations on packaging, product and other standards including EPR.
*Lead on the implementation of best practice policies for supply chain management and continuous improvement such as Sedex 4 pillar, BSCI and ISO9001.
*Manage RAGB status of suppliers and factories engaging relevant stakeholders, communicating with supplier leads and publishing supplier competencies and status changes, implementing fines and driving growth, replacement of improve.
*Lead on the implementation of international product labelling to ensure maximum product global opportunity with compliance to all European and international labels on product and packaging.
*Lead on the implementation and enforcement of supplier contracts and standards in all appropriate languages for suppliers across the globe.
*Lead on the roll out and maintenance of supplier manuals related to order processing, shipping, production and quality management, ethical and sustainability standards.
*Work with the China office, Uk product development and merchandising team to continually improve standards and to manage inspections.
*Implement systems for live tracking, monitoring and reporting on suppliers, products, conformance and standards.
*Working with major UK and European retailer teams on compliance and standards to ensure we are delivering all their compliance requirements and reporting.
Key Skills and Requirements:
*Extensive in product technologist role and regulatory compliance role with all appropriate qualifications.
*Significant experience in global (not just UK) product standards and regulations. Particularly EU and USA.
*Interest in travelling to and working with suppliers globally, particularly in China and Asia.
*Strong relationships with testing, audit and regulatory compliance providers
*Experience in monitoring and managing UK EPR and packaging regulations.
*Experience working with major uk and European retailers.
Additional Information:


Office Based in Oldham, with potential for 1 day per week at home.
Some foreign travel and uk travel to customer meetings and foreign factories/ office
Holidays: 25 days
