Job Description:
Aspire People is currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Manchester. These roles are ideal for candidates looking for flexibility, varied experience, or a pathway into a long-term SEND position.
We work closely with schools to ensure placements suit your experience, strengths, and availability.
The Role May Involve:
* Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Providing 1:1 or small-group interventions
* Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Helping pupils access the curriculum in a meaningful way
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements:
* Recent experience working with SEND pupils (school-based preferred)
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication skills
* Willingness to support across different year groups
* A genuine passion for inclusion and child development
