Job Description:
Teacher of Music (KS3 & KS4) Location: Chelmsford, Essex
We are seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teacher of Music to join our vibrant and forward-thinking department in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about music education and inspiring students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role * Teach Music across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of music
* Prepare students for GCSE Music (or equivalent)
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Contribute to extra-curricular music activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and performances
* Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will * Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
* Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education
* Be able to teach practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum
* Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
* Be enthusiastic, organised, and a positive team player
* Be keen to contribute to the wider musical life of the school
