Job Description:
Venables Oak is one of Shropshire’s leading timber merchants and bespoke joinery manufacturers. We are currently seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join our skilled and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Setting up and operating a range of woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, four-sided planers, and bandsaws.
*Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
*Carrying out routine machine maintenance and ensuring the workshop remains clean and well organised.
*Working independently and as part of a busy, collaborative team
*Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Transport: Own transport essential due to rural location

Experience:
*Wood Machinery: 1 year (required)
