Job Description:
Head of Chemistry - Secondary School | Slough
The Head of Chemistry will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Chemistry lessons within their department. They will lead curriculum design in Chemistry. They will ensure that teachers successfully implement the curriculum through high standards of teaching and learning and achievement. They will ensure that students make progress, are nurtured, and supported to achieve their personal best. They will monitor and evaluate practice regularly to ensure that the quality of education students receive is strong.
The School is Looking for a Head of Chemistry Teacher Who:
*Is passionate about Science and delivers engaging, high-quality lessons
*Has strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills
*Can contribute positively to a collaborative, forward-thinking department
*Brings energy, vision and commitment to all aspects of school life
*Has experience teaching KS3-KS5
*Holds QTS and is confident in their subject specialism
