Job Description:
Are you passionate about nurturing the development of young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner or a Level 3 TA for a long-term role, starting after February half term, in one of our primary schools based in North Leeds. The position is long term until the end of the academic year with a possible opportunity of a direct contract for the right person.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA to become part of a supportive school community that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work as an Early Years Practitioner within the EYFS team to support children’s learning and development
*Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Observe and asses individual progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of each child
*Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
*Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
Requirements:
*Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
*Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting
*A genuine passion for working with young children
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
