This is….without doubt the best Bookkeeper role for anyone with a proven background at a firm of chartered accountants.
It offers it all:
*Flexibility to work just a couple of days a week in the office (full time if you want)
*You can start anytime between 8am – 11am; allowing you time to prioritse other responsibilities before work

The current team has 9 members (and growing); here you’ll feel like you’re part of the business and not just another number; the owner cares….I mean really cares about the staff – his philosophy is employees first clients second (really bucking the industry trend).
The businesses you’ll work with are brilliant; this firm is in a fortunate position where they can cherry pick their clients so forget the usual hassle of messy files and having to chase clients to make deadlines.
They utilise the latest technology and if it’s something you haven’t used before with the one to one training they offer it will take no time to bring you up to speed.
The offices couldn’t be more central; easy to get to on public transport and there are some great benefits and incentives on offer too (25 days holiday, flexi-time, monthly incentives).
Day to day you will have your own portfolio to look after; the Bookkeeping function will be yours to run as you see fit with the support of the Director – you can work in your own style without management breathing down your neck…this role gives you autonomy to work around you…not the other way around.
Typical duties will include producing monthly Trial Balance, controlling the ledgers and giving business owners a monthly steer on their finances.
To be considered for the role you must have previous Bookkeeping experience within the UK; ideally in a firm of accountants; without this you will not be considered so please don’t apply.
