Job Description:
Aftersales ManagerThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Aftersales Manager to lead and develop the Service, Parts and Workshop functions within a busy automotive operation. This role is responsible for driving performance, profitability and customer satisfaction while ensuring full compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
Key Responsibilities*Manage the day-to-day operation of Service, Parts and Workshop departments
*Drive aftersales revenue, profitability and departmental KPIs
*Lead, motivate and develop Aftersales teams, including Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts staff
*Ensure outstanding customer experience and high CSI scores
*Maintain full compliance with manufacturer standards, health & safety and audit requirements
*Control departmental budgets, labour sales and parts margins
*Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop utilisation
*Handle escalated customer issues and complaints professionally
*Work closely with the General Manager / Dealer Principal to implement business strategies
The Ideal Candidate*Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or strong Service Manager ready to step up
*Strong commercial awareness and KPI management experience
*Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
*In-depth understanding of service, parts and workshop operations
*Confident managing performance, processes and compliance
*Experience working in a franchised dealership environment (preferred)
*Full UK driving licence
