Job Description:
MFL Teacher (Spanish, French & German) - Ulverston Location: Ulverston, Cumbria
Pay Rate: £150 - £240 per day (dependant on experience)
Contract: Part-time (4 days per week, Tuesday - Friday)
Duration: April - July (Long-term)
The Opportunity Are you a passionate linguist looking for a rewarding role in a supportive educational environment? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Ulverston area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist capable of teaching Spanish, French, or German. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and marking high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, ensuring students of all abilities achieve their full potential in their language studies.
Key Responsibilities * Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love for languages across GCSE and A-Level cohorts.
* Assessment: Consistently mark student work and provide constructive feedback to drive academic progress.
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment; you should feel confident in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
* Collaboration: Work alongside a dynamic MFL department to share resources and best practices.
Requirements & Skills We are looking for a professional who possesses:
* Subject Expertise: A degree in French, Spanish, or German (or a combination).
* Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, QTLS, or PGCE).
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in at least one of the core languages mentioned.
* Experience: Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum at the secondary level.
