Job Description:
Vehicle TechnicianLocation: [Insert location]Salary: [£XX,XXX – £XX,XXX DOE + bonus]Hours: [Full-time / Shift pattern]The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer and company standards while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
*Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
*Complete MOT preparation and testing (if qualified)
*Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
*Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
*Adhere to health & safety and workshop processes
*Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and Parts teams
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate*NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (main dealer or independent)
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
*MOT licence (desirable but not essential)
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good time management and attention to detail
*Full UK driving licence
