Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant

Salary: Competitive £115.00 per day
Contract: Full-time, School Term-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Learning Support Assistant to join our school team in Bolton. This is a full-time, term-time position supporting students who require additional emotional and educational support to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with SEMH needs in both classroom and individual settings

* Assist teachers in implementing learning plans and strategies tailored to each student

* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

* Foster positive relationships and provide emotional support to students

* Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations

* Must be a confident driver with access to a vehicle (required for the role)

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
