Job Description:
Role Overview:
This interim role will lead and oversee quality assurance activity within children’s social care during a period of recruitment. The Service Manager will be responsible for driving high-quality practice through a structured programme of audits, learning, and service improvement.


Key Responsibilities:
*Lead monthly practice audits and thematic audits across children’s social care.
*Analyse findings, identify key learning, and facilitate forums to ensure learning is embedded into practice.
*Support preparation for inspections and monitoring visits.
*Drive forward practice improvement activity within the Quality Assurance service.
*Provide additional management capacity to strengthen quality, consistency, and outcomes for children and families.


This role requires a strong quality assurance background, experience of audit frameworks, and the ability to translate learning into sustainable practice improvement.
