Overview
A well-established and busy firm of Insolvency Practitioners is seeking an experienced Corporate Insolvency Advisor to join its growing team in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work within a high-volume environment, converting inbound leads into corporate insolvency instructions while providing clear, compliant advice to company Directors.
The role offers hybrid working, a supportive team culture, and strong earning potential for candidates with a proven background in corporate insolvency sales or advisory roles.
Key Responsibilities
*Handling inbound enquiries and qualified leads relating to corporate insolvency matters
*Advising company Directors on appropriate courses of action, including CVL, MVL, Administration, and other restructuring solutions
*Conducting detailed fact-finds to assess financial position and eligibility for insolvency procedures
*Converting leads into instructions in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
*Building rapport and trust with Directors during often sensitive and high-pressure situations
*Liaising closely with Insolvency Practitioners and internal case management teams to ensure a smooth handover of cases
*Maintaining accurate records and CRM updates
*Ensuring all advice is provided in line with SIPs, regulatory standards, and internal policies
Candidate Requirements
*Previous experience in a Corporate Insolvency Advisor, Business Development, or Insolvency Sales role
*Strong knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures and director obligations
*Proven ability to convert leads into completed instructions
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Commercially focused with a consultative, ethical approach
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
*High attention to detail and strong compliance awareness
