Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support in a care home setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Duties

We are looking for Care Assistants who are dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
As a Care Assistant, you will need to be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment as well as have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team.
The Role...
*To support the care, protection, and wellbeing, of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
*Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices to live the life they desire, in accordance with their person-centred care plans.
*Promote the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are met inclusively. This includes facilitating social, educational, and recreational activities such as visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
*Ensure the health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to the homes policies and procedures.


Qualifications
*Previous experience in a supported living, care home or home care setting is desirable
*Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
*Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
*Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting tasks.
*A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary.
