Job Description:
Paraplanner - Technical role within a Chartered IFA and a 4pm finish every Friday.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 - DOE
*Are you an experienced Paraplanner, Diploma qualified or close to completion, looking for a technical role with full admin support
*Would you enjoy working collaboratively 1-1 with an Advisor
*Would you thrive in a Chartered, Independent company with a pod style structure and a real emphasis on manageable work load, ensuring quality over quantity.

Client Overview
This is an established, IFA - established over 20 years ago and boasting being part of the Citywire top 100 advisers for over a decade. They are a steadily growing financial planning firm of around 30 people, with paraplanning embedded at the heart of the advice process.
The business operates a pod system, bringing advisers, paraplanners, administrators, and client services together in close-knit teams.
This role suits an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys collaboration, structure, and being a trusted technical specialist.
The company prides itself on its supportive atmosphere and high staff retention.
Benefits Include:
*Salary £40,000-£50,000, with scope to increase depending on experience and Chartered status
*35-hour working week with a 4pm finish every Friday
*Office-based role for the first 6 months, then 1 day per week working from home
*Pension contributions matched up to 5%
Role Details:
*Supporting a pod-based team structure, producing detailed suitability reports and undertaking whole-of-market research
*Analysing client data, interpreting adviser meeting notes, and translating objectives into compliant, well-reasoned recommendations
*Constructing suitability letters, preparing quotes, and processing new business accurately and efficiently
*Maintaining strong compliance standards, FCA knowledge, and detailed research records
*Working in a firm that values experience and consistency, with no expectation to move into an adviser role
*Taking part in team meetings and contributing to knowledge-sharing across the pod
