Electrical Plant Workshop Engineer – £40,000 + Excellent Benefits

*Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

About the Role
Join a hands-on engineering team where you’ll play a key part in preparing, maintaining, and improving our market-leading plant equipment. This role offers variety, technical challenge, and the chance to work with customers, field engineers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Install safety systems, calibrate equipment, and test plant specifications
*Prepare plant for sale, including decals, testing, and paint touch-ups
*Complete PDI inspections on incoming and outgoing machinery
*Refurbish and repair older machines
*Diagnose faults and equipment defects
*Support field engineers with diagnostics
*Assist Training staff with customer engineering training
*Provide technical support to R&D teams
*Support Dealer network with maintenance and testing
*Maintain engineering, H&S, and customer service records
Skills & Experience
*Electrical engineering experience (12/24v DC automotive or plant systems)
*CAN bus knowledge (ideal but not essential)
*Level 2 or 3 engineering qualification
*Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship
*Ability to follow electrical and hydraulic diagrams
*Confident fault-finding and problem-solving
*Customer-facing communication skills
*IT and administrative competence
*Full driving licence
*Team-focused approach
