Credit Controller
Dartford
£28,000 - £32,000 + bonus
Hours 8-4.30pm - Working 2 days home / 3 days in office
My client is looking for a passionate, up and coming Credit Controller who is looking for a career and not just a job. You will be part of a team of Credit Controllers but this role would be working directly with the Credit Manager who will mentor you and help you develop. You will be given the opportunity to learn new skills, get involved in projects and process improvement. This in turn will help you progress your career.
*Managing a ledger of 80-100 accounts, collecting up to £3million monthly
*Setting up new accounts, setting and monitoring credit limits
*Cash allocation
*Resolving an unallocated cash and discrepancies
*Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, email and portals
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries
*Reconciling accounts
*Resolving errors with invoicing quickly and efficiently
*Dealing with adjustments for shortages, damaged goods and returns
Requirements
*Minimum of 18-24 months Credit Control experience
*Attitude is key – positive, proactive, wanting to learn
*Passionate about Credit Control and wanting to do the best job possible
*Excellent communication skills
*Any experience of dealing with large corporate businesses and portals would be advantageous
*Good excel skills is essential
