Possession Planning Engineer
Freelance
£400 / day Umbrella
Carlisle (Hybrid working options)
Contract role - Initial contract until July 2026
A Possession Planning Engineer is required to join a rail client working on a contract in Cumbria.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
*Delivering all aspects of Engineering Access Planning safely and to time and budget.
*Planning all track access activities and managing the required resources.
*Apply appropriate planning, safety, and performance measures to all engineering possessions.
*Book / confirm appropriate possession resources.
*Resolve possession / Worksite conflicts
Requirements:
*Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP)
*Minimum of 5 years railway operations experience of which 2 years should include planning / management of engineering work.
