Robert Half has partnered with a major infrastructure business to recruit for an Investment Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) and can be based in Bristol or Glasgow.
The Role
The Investment Analyst will support a large-scale, long-term low-carbon infrastructure project, providing financial insight to inform commercial and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
*Ownership and ongoing maintenance of a complex investment case financial model
*Producing financial analysis and reporting to support investment, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements
*Working closely with finance, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost and performance data
*Maintaining and updating key financial assumptions, including inflation and foreign exchange
*Supporting post-financial close activities, including equity and shareholder-related analysis
The Candidate
*Background in either accounting or financial analysis
*Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent analytical experience
*Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel skills
*Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
*Eligible for UK security vetting (typically UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years)
Package & Benefits
*Salary: £54,000 - £62,000
*5% bonus
*28 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
