Warehouse Operative Wanted


Full-time Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available, based in Southampton.


Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 11:00am Start / 20:00 Finish (1-Hour Unpaid Lunch Break). (40-Hours Per Week).


Pay Rates:
£13.00 to £13.17 Per Hour (Equivalent Basic Annual Salary Range £27,000 to £27,500).


Additional Earning Opportunities:
Profit Share / Bonus’s (subject to company making a profit), Overtime also available.

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in a high support and high demand warehouse team. We want someone who can use integrated computer software systems, as well as performing physical warehouse duties and other ancillary tasks. If you have Reach or Counterbalance forklift driving experience this would be ideal (full training will be given).
This will be a challenging role as we are not looking for someone who just looks out for themselves and their own job. We want someone who is willing to collaborate with other teams, to ensure that the customer receives the best possible service and product. As well as someone who will engage with on-going improvement processes to make sure the team is producing the best possible product and service.


Responsibilities:
*Picking, Packing, Goods-In, Goods-Out.
*Forklift Truck Driving (Reach and Counterbalance).
*Operate mechanical equipment for material handling.
*Loading and unloading lorries, ensuring proper handling of goods.
*Use the warehouse management system to track inventory movements.
*Build and pack orders for shipment in a timely manner.
*Implement safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
*Possibly assist the workshop team as and when required.


Essential / Preferred Skills:
*Warehouse experience and knowledge essential.
*Forklift driving experience preferred but not essential.
*Used shipping software, inventory management, or CRM system to process customer orders would be preferred, but not essential.
*Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required in a warehouse setting.
*Team player qualities essential, someone who assists / supports co-workers, even if they are not in their warehouse team, to ensure customer orders are completed to a high quality and standard.
