Job Title: Plastering Assessor
Location: Dearne Valley
Working Pattern: Full-Time – 37 hours per week
Start Date: 19 December 2025
Salary:£38,487
If you have experience in planning, delivering, and assessing Plastering Apprenticeship Standards, this is a fantastic opportunity to help develop the next generation of construction talent.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience delivering and assessing Plastering apprenticeships
An industry qualification: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plastering
A1 / V1 / CAVA Assessor Award (or equivalent)
A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong IT skills
Level 2 English & Maths (or willingness to undertake)
IQA Award is desirable
You will be someone who can engage a wide variety of learners and bring plastering skills to life through creative and industry-relevant delivery. A strong appreciation of employer skills needs in the construction sector will also help you support learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for industry success.
Key Responsibilities:*Plan, deliver, and assess Plastering Apprenticeship Standards
*Support learners to achieve qualifications and develop practical skills
*Maintain a supportive and motivating learning environment
*Work closely with employers to ensure apprenticeship relevance and quality
*Contribute to the wider construction curriculum and team
