SEN Teaching Assistant - Milton Keynes(Autism & Complex Needs Focus)

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored support to pupils with autism and a range of complex needs. You will provide assistance both 1:1 and in small group settings, helping learners to engage with the curriculum, build independence, and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver individualised support to students with autism and complex learning needs.
*Assist teachers with planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
*Implement personalised learning programmes and effective behaviour management strategies.
*Provide emotional and pastoral support, promoting well-being and positive relationships.
*Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
Requirements:
*Previous experience supporting children with autism and complex needs (essential).
*A calm, patient, and empathetic approach when working with learners.
*Strong behaviour management and de-escalation abilities.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
