Job Description:
Industrial Operative (FLT Certified) – Transport company | Chadwell St Mary
You must hold a UK driving license AND a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (3000kg minimum) to be considered for this role.
We’re working with a well-established transportation company in Chadwell St Mary that’s looking to bring on two experienced Warehouse Operatives/ Yard Operatives/ Industrial Operatives. This is NOT your general warehouse role, it is more hands-on.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in day-to-day warehouse operations—loading/unloading vehicles into and out of containers using FLT equipment, keeping accurate documentation, and ensuring everything is handled with care and precision. Safety, attention to detail, and reliability are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift trucks
*Following internal warehouse procedures and safety protocols
*Reporting damages or shortages to supervisors
*Managing booking-in procedures and recording dims
*Ensuring vehicles are properly secured and signed for upon collection
*Performing daily forklift checks and maintenance tasks
*Supporting warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety compliance
What We’re Looking For
*Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (3000kg minimum) – required
*Full UK driving licence - required
