Job Description:
?? Repair Technician
?? Milton Keynes | Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week | £13.50 per hour | Ongoing Contract
?? What You’ll Be Doing: *Diagnose & Repair: Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware and software faults. Carry out component-level repairs, including soldering.
*Maintenance: Clean, adjust, and maintain mechanical components. Refill consumables and perform routine checks.
*Install & Configure: Set up and configure software and hardware products as required.
*Test & Validate: Ensure all repaired and new assemblies meet technical and quality standards.
*Document Work: Accurately record repair activities, parts used, and issues identified.
*Customer Support: Provide technical support and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
?? What We’re Looking For:
*Desirable Experience: Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic components, and the ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
*Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with diagnostic and measurement tools, and soldering equipment is a plus.
*Qualifications: A high school diploma is required; vocational training or equivalent experience is preferred.
*Soft Skills: Strong communication, good organisation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Driving Licence: May be required for field-based roles.
