Key Duties & Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver creative Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, bringing the subject to life through contemporary case studies.
*Assess student work and provide constructive feedback that drives progress and fosters a love for the subject.
*Lead and support local fieldwork, making the most of the unique Sefton coastline and urban landscapes.
*Work alongside a friendly team to develop resources and share best practices.
*Engage in the wider school community, potentially taking on form tutor responsibilities to support student well-being.
Skills & Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification with a degree in Geography or a related field.
*Subject Expertise: A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to prepare students for GCSE success.
*Classroom Management: The ability to create a focused, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
*Flexibility: A proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the specific needs of the school and its pupils.
